Proofsource and Cloudflare Pages: from merged fix to live page
Connect Cloudflare once and Proofsource finds the Pages project (or Worker) that serves your site. When a pull request with a fix merges, it sees the deploy go live, clears the cache for the fix's pages so crawlers read the new version, and can turn on Pages previews for Proofsource branches when you ask. Then it measures whether AI names you.
| Fix | Merged | Deploy | Cache |

| Pricing FAQ markup | Oct 24 | Live | Cleared |

- Disconnect
- From Integrations, or revoke Proofsource in your Cloudflare account; nothing already deployed changes
Why we love Cloudflare Pages
In the makers' own words, from their own pages. Proofsource builds on it, never around it.
Every branch gets a preview
Cloudflare Pages gives each branch and pull request its own preview address that updates with every commit, leaving production and custom domains untouched.
From developers.cloudflare.comDeploys that follow your Git workflow
Connect a GitHub or GitLab repository and Pages deploys on every push, adds preview links to pull requests and reports build status checks right where your team works.
From developers.cloudflare.comRollbacks in one step
If a deploy is wrong, Pages switches the project straight back to an earlier successful production deployment, and you can roll forward again when you are ready.
From developers.cloudflare.comHow Proofsource uses Cloudflare Pages
Finds the Pages project serving your site, sees when a merged fix goes live, and clears the cache for the fix's pages.
- Connect
Find the project that serves the site
After the Cloudflare consent, Proofsource finds the Pages project or Worker behind your domain, so it knows where a merged fix will land.
- Ship
Watch the deploy go live
When a fix's pull request merges, Proofsource reads the Pages deployment and marks the fix live only once the deploy has finished.
- Show
Clear the cache for the fix's pages
Proofsource purges the cache for only the URLs the fix changed, so ChatGPT, Perplexity and other crawlers fetch the new page, not a stale copy.
- Prove
Measure what AI does next
Proofsource asks the same questions again on day 7, 14 and 28 and shows whether the engines now name and cite you.
Set up Cloudflare Pages in 4 steps
Connect Cloudflare once
Open Integrations and pick Cloudflare. One consent covers reading, shipping and the rest, including Pages read and write and cache purge.
Let Proofsource find the project
Proofsource looks for the Pages project or Worker that serves your site and shows it on the Cloudflare card.
Merge a fix as usual
Open a fix as a pull request through your Git host. When it merges, Proofsource follows the deploy and clears the cache for its pages.
Turn on previews if you want them
On a fix, ask Proofsource to enable Pages previews for its branches. It changes only that setting for Proofsource branches.
| Step | Status |
|---|---|
| Find the Pages project | Done |
| See when a deploy is live | Done |
| Clear the cache for fix pages | Done |
| Preview branches for Proofsource | Off, ask on a fix |
What you unlock with Cloudflare Pages
Know when it is live
Proofsource marks a fix live only after the Pages deploy has really finished.
Fresh for crawlers
The cache is cleared for the fix's pages, so AI crawlers read the new version.
Branch previews
Turn on Pages previews for Proofsource branches from the fix, when you ask.
Verified, not assumed
Proofsource confirms the page is live before it starts the before and after comparison.
Narrow by design
Purges only the URLs a fix changed and touches no other setting.
Before and after
See whether AI started naming you after each deploy.
Questions about Proofsource and Cloudflare Pages
What does Proofsource do on Cloudflare Pages?
It finds the Pages project or Worker that serves your site, reads its deployments to see when a merged fix goes live, and clears the cache for the pages that fix changed. When you ask on a fix, it can also turn on Pages previews for Proofsource branches.
Does it change my site or deploy anything itself?
No. Your fixes still ship through your own Git host and your own review. Proofsource only reads deployments, purges the cache for the changed URLs and, when asked, switches on previews for its own branches.
What access does it need?
Pages read and write and cache purge, all part of the single Cloudflare consent. You can decline any optional scope, and Proofsource only uses the ones you grant.
Does it touch anything else in my Cloudflare account?
No. Proofsource reads Pages deployments, purges the cache for the URLs a fix changed and, when you ask, enables previews for its own branches. It does not change DNS, rules, Workers code or any other setting.
How do I disconnect it?
Open Integrations, pick Cloudflare and disconnect, or revoke Proofsource under your Cloudflare account's authorized apps, which cuts access at once. Nothing already deployed is changed.
How does it help my AI visibility?
A fix only helps once crawlers can read it. Seeing the deploy go live and clearing the cache means ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and the other engines fetch the new page sooner, and Proofsource starts its day 7, 14 and 28 checks from the true go-live time.
Which AI engines does Proofsource check?
Up to 10 depending on your plan: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI. The free scan and trial run four.
