AI search fixes that arrive as pull requests

For sites built from a code repository, Proofsource ships AI visibility fixes as GitHub pull requests written in your own framework. You preview the page before and after, see checks pass, and approve in one place; Proofsource merges exactly what you previewed and can open an undo pull request any time. Built for developer-led marketing teams who want every change reviewed.

The fix tracks its pull request from change ready to live.

What is a pull request fix for AI search?

A pull request fix is a change to your website delivered the way your engineers already work: as a branch and a pull request in your code repository. Many modern marketing sites are built with frameworks such as Next.js, Astro or plain HTML in a repo, and they have no CMS where a tool could paste a page. For those sites, an AI visibility fix such as a new FAQ section, a comparison page or structured data has to become code.

The hard part is not writing the text but fitting it into the site: the right folder, the site's own layout and styles, a build that still passes, and a reviewer who can see exactly what will change. A good pull request fix also needs a way back if something breaks.

Proofsource detects when a connected site ships by repo, asks which folder holds the website if the repo has several apps, and writes the change in the site's own framework. It opens a pull request through its GitHub App, shows the page before and after with changed parts outlined, runs checks, and merges only when you approve. After merge it tracks the change as live, and if it is ever reverted the fix shows the reason and the revert link.

How it works

AI visibility fixes shipped as pull requests in your own repo and framework, previewed before and after, merged only when you approve.

  1. Connect the repo

Install the Proofsource GitHub App on the repositories that hold your site. Proofsource detects that fixes for this site ship as code.

  2. Pick the site folder

If the repo holds several apps, Proofsource asks which folder is the website and remembers it.

  3. Write the change in your framework

The fix is written as page code that uses your site's own head, header, footer and classes, on its own branch.

  4. Preview before and after

See the page as it is now and as it will be, with changed parts outlined and checks shown.

  5. Approve and merge

Say Yes in Proofsource and it merges exactly what you previewed. Change ready, Checks, Merged and Live are tracked on the fix.

Several ready fixes can ship together as one pull request.

Every capability, live today

9 shipped capabilities behind GitHub pull request fixes, each in the product now.

Code agent

Writes page code in your repo's framework and ships it as a change you review.

Pull request status on the fix

The fix shows its pull request moving through change ready, checks, merged and live, with the repo's merge rule.

Repo detection and site folder

Knows when a site connected by repo ships page fixes as code changes, and asks which folder holds the website when a repo has several apps.

Preview, approve and merge

Preview pages before and after a pull request, then approve and merge from Proofsource.

Pull request check

Checks a pull request for removed sentences that AI answers quote.

Batch ready fixes in one pull request

Ship every ready fix of a brand in one pull request, grouped so reviewers see them together. Checks run before you confirm.

Taken back card

If a change is reverted, the fix shows the reason and the revert link, and offers to try again.

Proofsource GitHub App

The app opens fix pull requests on the repositories you install it on. The brand's GitHub connection publishes fixes through it, so a fix arrives as a pull request.

Revise an open fix pull request

Ask for a change to a pull request a fix already opened and the agent updates it.

Who it is for

Engineering lead

Review AI fixes like any other change

Fixes arrive as normal pull requests with diffs and checks, so marketing work goes through the same review as product code.

Founder of a startup site

Ship fixes without a CMS

Your site lives in a repo with no CMS; Proofsource still ships new FAQ sections and comparison pages in your framework.

Growth marketer

Batch a week of fixes

Approve three ready fixes as one pull request so engineering reviews once instead of three times.

Content owner

Protect sentences AI already quotes

Get a warning before a change deletes a line Perplexity or ChatGPT uses in answers about you.

Why it matters

Works the way engineers work

Branches, pull requests, checks and merge rules stay in place; nothing bypasses review.

Native to your site

New content uses your own layout, head, header, footer and classes, so it looks like the rest of the site.

See it before it ships

A before and after preview shows exactly what changes, and Proofsource merges what you previewed.

Easy to take back

One click opens an undo pull request, and a reverted change keeps its reason on record.

Questions about GitHub pull request fixes

How do AI visibility fixes become pull requests?

Install the Proofsource GitHub App on your site's repository. When you start a fix, Proofsource writes the change as page code in your framework, puts it on its own branch, and opens a pull request you can review and approve.

Will the new page match my site's design?

Yes. Proofsource frames new content in your site's own head, header, footer and classes, and you see the full page before and after in the preview.

Does Proofsource merge without asking?

No. It merges only after your approval in Proofsource, and it respects the repo's merge rule, such as a required review.

What if my repo has several apps?

Proofsource asks once which folder holds the website and uses that folder for every fix.

Can I ship several fixes together?

Yes. Select the ready fixes and ship them as one pull request; Proofsource runs the checks before you confirm.

How do I undo a fix?

Click Undo on the fix and Proofsource opens a pull request that takes the change back. If anyone reverts a change, the fix shows the reason and the revert link and offers to try again.

Does this help with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and other engines?

Yes. Each pull request carries a fix for a question those engines answered without you, and after it goes live Proofsource re-reads the answers to prove whether it worked.

How is this different from Profound's GitHub support?

Profound's AI Marketer can also edit code in repos, a strong option for large teams. Proofsource adds before and after page previews, batching of ready fixes into one pull request, and a check that warns before a change removes a sentence AI already quotes.

What if my site has no repo?

Proofsource can publish through a connected CMS, or give you the page to copy and publish yourself in three steps.

Try it on your own brand.
