Approvals that keep AI fixes moving and under control
Proofsource lets you name exactly who may approve publishing, then brings each approval to them: a one-time link in email, Approve and Not now buttons in Slack, or a morning list for agency owners. A whole fix plan is approved with one Yes, agency clients get their own approval step, and custom roles with credit allowances keep spend in the right hands.

What is an AI fix approval workflow?
An approval workflow decides who must agree before a change reaches your website or a public channel. For AI visibility work this matters more than usual: fixes touch pricing pages, comparisons with competitors and public posts, and once an engine learns a claim it can repeat it for months. Teams want speed, but they also want the right person to read a page before it goes live.
Most approval systems slow work down because approvals wait inside a tool nobody checks. A good workflow names the approvers clearly, brings the decision to where they already are, and records who said Yes and when.
In Proofsource, an admin turns on the approvers policy and marks who can approve. When a fix is ready, those people get the decision in the app, by a one-time email link, or as Slack buttons. A fix plan is approved once for all its steps, and agencies can add a client approval before anything ships. Custom roles and credit allowances decide who can start work and how much they can use, and the autopilot dial sets how much Proofsource may do without asking.
How it works
Decide who may say Yes to publishing, approve fixes from email or Slack, and give agency clients their own approval step.
Name your approvers
Turn on the approvers policy in Settings, People and switch on Can approve for the people who may say Yes to publishing.
Set roles and allowances
Create custom roles, group people into teams, and give each person a credit allowance.
Bring the decision to them
Approvers get a one-time approve link by email or Approve, Not now and Mute buttons in Slack.
Approve the whole plan once
One Yes approves every step of a fix plan, so work does not stop at each step.
Add a client step for agencies
Agency clients approve or comment on drafted fixes and pages in their own view before anything ships.

Questions about fix approvals
Who can approve publishing in Proofsource?
When the approvers policy is on, only people with the Can approve switch turned on in Settings, People can say Yes to publishing. Everyone else can still draft and prepare fixes.
Can I approve a fix without opening the app?
Yes. Approvers get a one-time approve link by email, or Approve, Not now and Mute buttons in Slack on each fix moment.
Do I have to approve every step of a fix?
No. One Yes approves every step of a fix plan, and you see the plan and what it usually uses in credits before you agree.
How do agencies get client sign-off?
Clients approve or comment on drafted fixes, pages and tasks in the client portal.
Can I limit how much each person spends?
Yes. Custom roles and per-person credit allowances control who can start work and how many credits they can use. Credits are charged only for work that ran.
Can Proofsource act without asking?
Only as far as you allow. The autopilot dial sets how much Proofsource does on its own, with a weekly view and a budget, and anything beyond it waits for an approver.
How is this different from approvals in Profound or Peec AI?
Profound and Peec AI both include an approval step before work goes out. Proofsource adds named approvers with their own switch, approval by email link or Slack button, client approvals for agencies, and per-person credit allowances.
Is approval tied to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google AI Overviews results?
Each approval request carries the reason for the fix, such as how many ChatGPT or Perplexity answers skipped you, so the approver decides with the evidence in view.
