One-click AI visibility fixes, every step in plain sight
Start any fix in Proofsource with one button. Before it runs you see the plan and what it usually uses in credits; while it runs you watch each step, Make it, Ship it, Prove it, with live lines, a timeline and a budget cap. What is an automated AI visibility fix?
An automated AI visibility fix is a run of steps that takes one problem, such as ChatGPT recommending a competitor on a key question, from diagnosis to a verified result: read the site and the answers, write the page, publish it, then re-check the answers. Doing those steps by hand across several tools is where most teams lose weeks.
Automation only helps if people can trust it. That means seeing the plan and cost before it starts, watching what each step does, stopping at any point, undoing what shipped, and never paying for work that failed.
In Proofsource, each fix card has one action button. Starting a fix shows the plan and what it usually uses in credits. The live fix screen then shows the goal, state, budget and each step with a live line, grouped into Make it, Ship it and Prove it lanes, with a timeline of every moment so far and what is still to come. You can ask a question under any step. If AI already names you on that question, the fix ends with Nothing to fix, and you can still choose Do it anyway.
How it works
Start a fix with one button and watch it read, write, ship and prove step by step, with the plan and credits shown first and failed steps free.
See the plan first
Starting a fix shows its steps, such as write, publish and check, and what it usually uses in credits.
Make it
Proofsource reads your site and the answers and writes the page, with a live line for each step.
Ship it
After your approval, the fix publishes through your CMS, a pull request, or a copy you publish yourself.
Prove it
The fix re-asks its questions on fixed days and shows whether the answers changed.
Keep going
A flat result suggests the next tactic; a proven fix offers to do the same for your next problem.

One fix's goal, state, budget and steps with live lines, plus Cancel or Undo.
Live fix headline states
One clear headline for each state, such as your page is ready or while we write.
Live workflow canvas
Steps drawn as a canvas in Make it, Ship it and Prove it lanes.
Fix timeline
Every step and moment, oldest first, then now, then what is still to come.

Ask a question under any step of a live fix.
Failed fix card
A stopped fix names the failed step; nothing after it runs or costs credits.

A clean finish when AI already names your brand on that question.
Do it anyway
Start a new fix after one that ended with nothing to fix, from the Do it anyway action on that fix.
Next tactic after a fix
Suggests and starts the next tactic after a fix. When a fix's result is flat, Proofsource picks the next thing to try.
Run and publish
Runs steps, publishes, and confirms pages you published yourself.
Fixes list and detail
Lists fixes with their steps, facts, pull requests and drafts.
Fixes by API
Create, read, update and stop fix loops through the API. The public API serves fixes to API keys just as it does to signed-in sessions.
Versioned step graphs
Fix workflows are stored as versioned step graphs and checked before they run.
Fix cost and spend cap
Shows what a fix has used against its cap, and caps what one fix may spend.
Credit meter for fixes
Records the credit use of every action in a fix, with guards against waste.
Autopilot dial
Read and set how much Proofsource does on its own with the Autopilot dial.
Who it is for
Ship a fix between meetings
Start the top fix, approve the page when it is ready, and let the checks run on their own.
Know the cost up front
See what a fix usually uses before it starts, with a cap, and pay nothing for steps that failed.
Watch what the automation does
Follow each step's live line and ask why a step made a choice before you approve.
Drive fixes from your own tools
Read and start fix loops through the API with an API key.
Why it matters
From gap to proof in one run
Make it, Ship it and Prove it happen in one flow, not across five tools.
Nothing hidden
The plan, the budget and every step are visible, and you can cancel or undo.
Fair charging
Credits are charged per step at actual use, capped per fix, and failed work is free.
Work continues
Flat results get a next tactic and proven fixes lead to the next problem.

Questions about live fix runs
What happens when I click Start fix?
Proofsource shows the plan and what the fix usually uses in credits. Once you confirm, it runs the steps and you watch each one on the live fix screen.
Does it publish without my approval?
No. The Ship it steps wait for an approver's Yes, unless you have set the autopilot dial to let Proofsource act on its own for that kind of work.
What if a step fails?
The fix stops at that step and names it. Nothing after it runs or costs credits, and you can try again once the cause, such as an expired login, is fixed.
How are credits charged?
Each step is charged at actual use, dated when it ran, and each fix has a cap. You see the usual cost before starting and the credits used as it runs. Failed work is free.
What if AI already names us?
The fix ends with Nothing to fix. If you still want the work done, choose Do it anyway.
What happens if the fix does not move the answers?
Proofsource suggests the next tactic for that question and can start it, so a flat result leads to another try instead of a dead end.
Which engines does a fix target?
Fixes target the answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and other engines (up to 10 in all) where you were missing, and re-check those same engines.
How is this different from Profound's AI Marketer?
Profound's AI Marketer is a capable agent platform for broad marketing work. Proofsource focuses each run on one AI visibility problem, shows the plan and cap before it starts, charges only for steps that ran, and ends every run with verification.
Can I start fixes from code?
Yes. Fixes and fix loops are available in the public API with an API key.
