Proof that your fix worked, checked for you every week
Proofsource verifies AI visibility fixes on its own. When a fix goes live it reads the page, guards it daily for 14 days, then re-asks your tracked AI engines, up to 10, the same questions, with control questions, on days 7, 14 and 28. A win is kept only when the change is real, and every win is re-checked weekly.
Automatic AI fix verification, in short
The facts, ready to quote.
- Proof schedule
- Checks on days 7, 14 and 28 after launch, then weekly for every proven win.
- Fair test
- Target questions are compared with control questions, so a market-wide shift is not counted as your win.
- Live-site guard
- The fix's pages are read at launch and daily for 14 days; a break the change caused is reverted.
- Keep-it
- Each proven win is checked once a week and a fix starts if it slips.
- Shipped fixes detected
- Key and cited pages are read daily, so a fix you shipped yourself is noticed.
- What works
- Shipped fixes are measured daily to show which kinds of fix work.
AI fix verification, explained
AI fix verification answers one question: did the change we made actually make AI engines mention or cite us more? It is harder than it sounds. AI answers vary from run to run and the whole market moves, so a single before-and-after screenshot proves little. A fair test asks the same questions repeatedly over weeks and compares them with control questions the fix should not affect.
Proofsource runs that test for every fix without anyone scheduling it. Each fix runs as a mission: read the current answers, find why competitors win, write, judge, publish, then prove. After launch the page is guarded daily for 14 days. The proof window then asks target and control questions on days 7, 14 and 28, and the verdict is kept only when the change is real.
Verification does not end with a verdict. Proven wins are re-checked every week, and a slip starts a new fix. Fixes that need a person, such as a Reddit reply or a post on X, are tracked too: once the post is live, its fix clock starts. Daily measurement across shipped fixes shows which kinds of fix work best.
How it works
After a fix goes live, Proofsource re-asks the AI engines on a set schedule, guards the live page, and keeps checking every win each week.
The fix goes live
Published by an agent, a pull request, your CMS, or by you. Proofsource notices it either way.
Guard the live page
The page is read at launch and every day for 14 days. A break the change caused is reverted.
Proof window
Target and control questions are asked again on days 7, 14 and 28.
Verdict
A win is kept only when the change is real, and you get a share link to show it.
Keep it
Every week, each win is re-checked. If it slips, a fix starts.

Your Driffle vs Otter page is proven. Since it went live, AI answers name Driffle in 37% of target answers, up from 18%, while control questions showed no clear change. See the proof on your share link.

Questions about automatic AI fix verification
How does Proofsource prove a fix worked?
It asks the same target questions again after the fix goes live, alongside control questions the fix should not affect. Checks run on days 7, 14 and 28, and a win is kept only when the change is real.
Why wait 28 days for the first check?
AI engines take time to find and trust a new or changed page, and answers vary from day to day. Waiting and repeating the checks gives a verdict you can rely on.
Which engines are checked?
Every engine your plan covers, up to 10, from ChatGPT and Perplexity to Gemini, Copilot and Grok.
What is the live-site guard?
For 14 days after a fix ships, Proofsource reads its pages at launch and daily. If the change broke the page, it reverts that change.
What happens after a fix is proven?
You get a win email with a share link, and the Keep-it check re-tests the win every week. If it slips, a new fix starts.
Do I have to tell Proofsource I shipped a fix?
No. Key and cited pages are read daily and changes are recorded, so fixes you ship yourself are detected.
Can fixes that need a person be verified?
Yes. For tasks such as a Reddit reply or an X post, Proofsource finds the post once it is live and starts the fix clock from that day.
Is verification charged separately?
Verification is part of the fix. Any repeat runs are charged in credits only for work that ran.
