Nothing an agent writes goes live without your OK
When a Proofsource agent drafts a page, the run pauses and waits for you. You read each page, change anything, then approve or ask for changes. Approved pages publish to your connected site, built your site's own way, or by pull request. With no site connected, you copy or download the page. Any page a run put live can be taken down in one click.

What is an AI content approval workflow?
An approval workflow is the human check between an AI draft and your live website. AI can write useful pages quickly, but a brand needs someone to confirm the facts, the tone and the claims before anything is public. A good approval step makes that review fast: you see the draft in context, edit it in place and approve or send it back with a note.
In Proofsource, approval is built into every agent. When a run reaches a step that would publish or send something, it stops and shows Waiting on you. You read each drafted page, change anything you want, and approve. If something is wrong you request changes: the run stops, keeps your note and can run again after the steps change. You can also skip publishing and keep the draft.
After approval, the page goes live through your connected site. When the change needs code, Proofsource opens and tracks a pull request instead. New pages are built the way your site already adds pages, copying the design of a sibling page of the same kind. If your site is not connected, you publish it yourself and paste the address: Proofsource opens it until it is live, then starts tracking whether AI cites it.
How it works
Agent runs pause on drafted pages until you read, edit and approve them, then publish to your site and can be taken down in one click.
The agent drafts
A run writes a page, for example an answer to a buyer question where a competitor is named instead of you.
The run waits on you
The agent shows Waiting on you and lists the pages that need your OK.
Read and edit
Read each page as a document and change anything before you decide.
Approve or ask for changes
Approve to publish, request changes to stop the run with your note, or skip publishing.
Publish your site's way
To your connected site, as a pull request, or by copy or download when no site is connected.
Undo any time
Take down the pages a run put live in one click.

Questions about AI content approval workflow
Can a Proofsource agent publish without my approval?
No. Steps that publish or send anything run only right after your Yes. The run pauses and shows Waiting on you until you decide.
What happens when I request changes?
The run stops and keeps your note. Once the steps are changed, you run it again.
Where do approved pages go?
To your connected site, or as a pull request when the change is in your site's code. If no site is connected, you copy or download the page and publish it yourself.
Will the new page match my site's design?
Yes. Proofsource works out how your site adds a content page and copies the design of an existing page of the same kind, then checks the new page against a sibling.
How do I remove a page an agent published?
Use undo on the run. It takes the pages down through the same channel that published them.
What happens after I publish a page myself?
Paste its live address and mark it published. Proofsource opens the address until the page is live, then starts tracking whether up to 10 AI engines, from ChatGPT and Perplexity to Gemini, Copilot and Grok, cite it.
Can an agent call any website it wants?
No. Agent steps may call only an approved set of web addresses.
How is this different from Profound's AI Marketer approvals?
Both stage drafts for approval. Proofsource adds a one-click take down, a copy-and-paste handover for sites that are not connected, and citation tracking that starts as soon as the page is live.
