Proofsource and Google Workspace: one sign-in for your working documents

Google Workspace will give Proofsource one read-only sign-in to your Docs, Sheets and Gmail metadata. Documents feed your knowledge base so fixes use your real facts, and Sheets power bulk imports of prompts and content. It is coming soon: join early access and we tell you when it opens for your workspace.

Why we love Google Workspace

In the makers' own words, from their own pages. Proofsource builds on it, never around it.

Docs that many people write at once

Google Docs lets several people edit one document together, comment, assign tasks and restore earlier versions, so a team's facts stay in one living file.

Sheets that connect to your data

Google Sheets links to business tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce, and Connected Sheets lets people analyze BigQuery or Looker data without writing SQL.

A whole suite, managed centrally

Workspace joins Gmail, Meet, Chat and an admin console for IT, with security as a core theme, so a company runs its day on one trusted set of apps.

How Proofsource uses Google Workspace

Would give Proofsource read-only access to Docs, Sheets and Gmail metadata for knowledge bases and Google Sheets import.

  1. Connect

    One Google sign-in, read-only

A single sign-in would cover Docs, Sheets and Gmail metadata for the workspace, with no write access to any of them.

  2. Read

    Feed the knowledge base

Documents you choose become text in a knowledge base, so Proofsource knows your product, policies and tone before it writes a word.

  3. Act

    Bulk-import from Sheets

A sheet of buyer questions or content briefs could be imported in one pass instead of typed row by row.

  4. Prove

Check the engines against your facts

Proofsource compares what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and the other engines say with the facts you supplied, and shows where they drift.

How to join early access

  1. Join early access

Tell us you want it. Google Workspace appears in Integrations under Your knowledge when it opens. Today it is listed as Coming soon.

  2. Meanwhile, add facts by hand

Upload the documents you want Proofsource to know, or type your buyer questions into a knowledge base. Nothing you add is wasted when the connection opens.

  3. When it opens, sign in and choose

Choose Connect Google Workspace, approve read-only access to Docs, Sheets and Gmail metadata, then pick the documents for a knowledge base or a sheet to import.

  4. Disconnect any time

Remove the connection from the same card. Text already imported stays until you delete it.

Questions about Proofsource and Google Workspace

Can I connect Google Workspace today?

Not yet. The card shows Coming soon and cannot be started. Google Drive, Search Console, Analytics and Google Docs are separate cards with their own status.

What would Proofsource read from Google Workspace?

Read-only Docs and Sheets content you choose, plus Gmail metadata such as sender and date. It would not read the bodies of your emails, and it could not write to any of them.

What would Google Workspace be used for?

Two things: feeding your knowledge base with documents so fixes and accuracy checks use your real facts, and importing from Google Sheets in bulk, for example a list of buyer questions.

How does this help my AI visibility?

Engines repeat what they find and what you have clearly said. Giving Proofsource your real documents lets it write fixes that state your facts accurately and check each engine against them.

How would I disconnect it?

Open Integrations, find the Google Workspace card and choose Disconnect. The stored sign-in is removed. Text already imported stays in your knowledge base until you delete it.

What does Coming soon mean?

It means the connection is planned and not open yet. Nothing is stored about your Google account, and we list the card so you can see what is planned.
