Knowledge bases, folders and items. Create knowledge bases, organize them in folders, add the items that state what is true, and browse or search across them to find and update a fact. Fixes, answers and briefs use these facts.
What is a knowledge connector for AI visibility?
AI visibility fixes are only as good as the facts inside them. A comparison page with an old price, an FAQ that names a retired feature or a claim legal never approved can do more harm than the gap it was meant to close. The facts that matter usually live in company documents: a pricing sheet in Google Sheets, a positioning doc in Notion, product specs in Confluence, approved messaging in SharePoint.
A knowledge connector reads those documents with your permission so the AI that drafts fixes works from the same source of truth as your team. It also helps spot the opposite problem: when ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot or other AI engines state something about your brand that your own documents contradict.
Proofsource is opening connections to Google Drive, Docs and Sheets, Notion, Confluence and SharePoint in stages. Once a source opens, a picker lists folders and pages; you add the ones that hold approved facts. Proofsource reads them into the brand's knowledge base, and fixes, briefs and assistant answers draw on it. Until then you add facts to the knowledge base by hand.

Does Proofsource read my whole Drive?
No. When Drive opens, a picker lists folders and files, and Proofsource will read only what you add.
What does Proofsource use the documents for?
They feed the brand's knowledge base, which Proofsource uses to draft fixes, write hand-off briefs and answer questions about your brand. Today you add those facts by hand.
Does this help when an AI answer has my facts wrong?
Yes. With your approved facts in the knowledge base, fixes that correct what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot or other AI engines say are written from your own documents.
Can I disconnect a source later?
Yes. Remove any connection from the Integrations page at any time.
