Multi-brand AI visibility tracking, explained
Multi-brand AI visibility tracking measures how AI answer engines treat more than one brand from a single account. A company with a flagship product and a newer line, a group with regional brands, or an agency with clients all need the same thing: separate measurements per brand, shared people and one bill.
In Proofsource every brand is a full setup: its own competitors, topics, buyer questions, locations and engines. The brand switcher in the sidebar changes the whole dashboard at once, and links from emails switch to the right workspace before they open. A portfolio view lines up every brand with visibility, cited prompts and top cited domains.
Names cause real trouble in AI answers. If another company shares your brand's name, Proofsource finds look-alike brands and asks which one you mean, so answers about a different company are never counted as yours.
How it works
Track several brands in one workspace with one brand switcher, one credit pool and per-brand engines, competitors and question quotas.
Add a brand
Open the brand switcher and add a brand from any link. Before you confirm, you see what it adds to your credit use and whether your plan has room.
Set it up on its own
Each brand gets its own competitors, topics and questions, with a question quota you can set per brand.
Choose its engines
Pick the AI assistants each brand is measured on, and add extra engines as add-ons where your plan allows.
Keep names apart
Look-alike brands that share a name are found, and a short Which brand? check keeps answers matched to the right company.
Compare in the portfolio
See every brand side by side, and switch into any one to read its answers.
See it in the product

Your plan's brand and question limits are explained before you hit them, with a plain message when a workspace cannot add another brand yet.

Questions about Multi-brand tracking
How many brands can I track in one workspace?
As many as your plan's brand limit allows. If you reach it, Proofsource explains the limit before you try to add another.
Do brands share credits?
Yes. All brands in a workspace draw from one credit pool, and you see what a new brand adds before you confirm it.
Can each brand have different competitors and questions?
Yes. Every brand has its own competitors, topics, buyer questions and question quota.
Can I track different AI engines for different brands?
Yes. Choose the AI assistants each brand is measured on. Each brand can run up to 10 AI engines, from ChatGPT and Perplexity to Gemini, Copilot and Grok, depending on the plan.
What if another company has the same name as my brand?
Proofsource finds look-alike brands that share your name and asks which one is you, so their mentions are not counted as yours.
Can I limit a teammate to one brand?
Yes. Brand and category grants limit a member to the brands they work on.
How is this different from separate accounts?
One workspace means one team, one bill and one credit pool, with a portfolio view across brands.
What is the portfolio?
It is one screen that lists every brand in your workspace with its AI visibility, range, cited questions, top cited domains and weekly change.
How does the call-first sort work?
Each brand's weekly change is checked against its range. The largest drop outside normal swing sorts to the top with a red dot.
What happens for brands that are not measured yet?
They show a clear not-measured-yet state instead of a zero.
