Start tracking AI visibility from any link
Any-link onboarding sets up AI visibility tracking from the link that best describes your business: a website, an App Store or Google Play listing, a Google Maps place, a YouTube channel or an Instagram profile. Proofsource reads the link, names the brand, proposes competitors and buyer questions, and starts your first scan of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and the other engines your plan covers.

Any-link AI visibility onboarding, explained
AI visibility onboarding is the setup step of an AI search tracker: telling the tool who you are, who you compete with and which buyer questions to ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and the other engines your plan covers. Most tools start from a website domain. That works for software companies, but a mobile app, a restaurant, a clinic or a creator is often better known by its store listing, its Maps place or its channel than by a homepage.
Any-link onboarding means the tool accepts whatever link best identifies the business and builds the setup from it. Proofsource draws a live preview card as soon as you paste the link, with the name, logo and kind of entity, then reads the source and proposes the brand profile, competitors, topics and questions for you to review.
The analysis is durable. If your browser tab closes or the connection drops, the work continues on our side and the wizard resumes at the same step, so you never pay for or wait through the same setup twice.
How it works
Paste a website, App Store, Google Play, Google Maps, YouTube or Instagram link and Proofsource sets up AI visibility tracking from it.
Paste a link
Drop in a website, an App Store or Google Play listing, a Google Maps place, a YouTube channel or an Instagram profile. Website links are tidied to the host when you leave the box.
See the preview card
A card fills in live with the business name, logo and kind, so you know Proofsource found the right entity before anything runs.
Watch the analysis stream
Brand details, topics, buyer questions and competitor chips appear as they are found, with a labeled progress frame for each step.
Correct the brand name
If the detected name is off, fix it inline before the scan. The wizard writes your edits to the brand's real topics and questions.
Start the first scan
Nothing is spent until you press Start first scan. The scan can begin before the site read finishes, using safe defaults.
See it in the product

Every capability, live today
9 shipped capabilities behind Any-link onboarding, each in the product now.
Any-link onboarding
Add a brand from an App Store, Google Play, Google Maps, YouTube or Instagram link, not only a website, so places, apps, creators and people without a strong website still get tracked.
Live link preview card
Paste any link and a card fills live with the name, logo and kind of entity. A pasted site is cleaned to the host name when you leave the box.
Domain analysis with live progress
Reads a domain and proposes the brand, competitors and buyer questions. Brand, topics, questions and competitor chips arrive as the analysis finds them, saved as it goes.
Never start over
The analysis survives a cut connection and picks up its progress, and setup saves where you are and brings you back to the same step later.
Brand name correction
Shows the detected brand with an inline name fix before the scan runs.
Three-step setup wizard
Website, check what we found, first scan, with a labeled progress frame that tells you which step you are on. The scan starts only when you press Start first scan.
Setup gate
Accounts without a finished brand are sent to the setup wizard instead of an empty dashboard.
Scan without waiting
The first scan can start before the site read finishes, using safe defaults, and waits briefly for the site read to supply your locations.
Brand profile from any link
Paste a public link and Proofsource reads the profile behind it, including a YouTube channel.
Who it is for
Track an app by its store listing
Paste the App Store or Google Play link and Proofsource tracks how AI answers app questions in your category, even when your website is thin.
Start from your Google Maps place
A clinic, restaurant or studio is known by its Maps place. Paste it and get questions and competitors that fit your area.
Onboard from a channel
YouTube and Instagram links set up tracking for creators and people, not only companies.
Add a client in minutes
Paste whatever link the client gave you and review the proposed setup before any scan spends credits.
Why it matters
Fits how buyers know you
AI engines read store listings, places and channels. Starting from the right link makes the tracked questions match reality.
Minutes, not a workshop
The analysis drafts the setup for you. You review and edit instead of building it.
Nothing runs by surprise
The first scan starts only when you press the button, after you have seen what we found.
No lost work
Closed tabs and dropped connections do not reset setup. The analysis and the wizard both resume.

Questions about Any-link onboarding
Which links can I use to set up AI visibility tracking?
You can paste a website, an App Store listing, a Google Play listing, a Google Maps place, a YouTube channel or an Instagram profile. Proofsource draws a preview card and builds the setup from that link.
Why would I start from an app or Maps link instead of my website?
AI engines often describe apps, local places and creators from their listings and profiles. Starting from the link buyers already know gives you questions and competitors that match how AI sees you.
What does Proofsource propose after reading the link?
It proposes the brand name and category, a set of competitors, topics and buyer questions. You review and edit all of it before the first scan.
Does setup spend anything before I am ready?
No. The first scan starts only when you press Start first scan. The analysis before that is part of setup.
What happens if my browser closes during the analysis?
The analysis keeps running. When you come back, the wizard resumes at the same step with everything found so far.
Which AI engines does the first scan check?
The free trial and free scan run ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews. Paid plans can add more engines, up to ten on the managed plan.
Can agencies use any-link onboarding for clients?
Yes. Agencies add client brands the same way, from whatever link the client is best known by.
Can I fix a wrong brand name?
Yes. The detected brand appears with an inline name field, and your correction is used for every question and answer match.
