What is a free AI visibility scan?
An AI visibility scan asks AI answer engines the questions your buyers ask and records what comes back: whether your brand is mentioned, where it appears, which competitors are recommended and which sources are cited. It is the AI search equivalent of checking your Google rankings, except the answer is a paragraph, not a list of links, and it changes between runs.
Proofsource's free scan uses the questions you approved during setup and runs them on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews. Results are read from stored answers, so every finding links back to the actual text an engine produced. Findings are written as plain sentences, such as which engine never mentioned you, rather than a single score you have to interpret.
The scan also checks how much of your key page content AI crawlers can see, and invites you to connect Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Cloudflare so later changes can be proven against traffic.
How it works
A free scan asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews your buyer questions and explains the result in plain sentences.
Approve the questions
The scan asks the questions you ticked during setup, nothing more.
Watch it run
A big answer count and one bar per engine fill as answers come in. If an engine is slow, a notice says so.
Read the findings
Plain sentences explain where you were named, where competitors were named instead and which pages were cited.
See the crawler view
The percent of your key page content AI crawlers can read, so you know if a technical block is part of the story.
Connect to prove results
Link Search Console, Google Analytics and Cloudflare after the scan so future gains show up in traffic too.
See it in the product
Screens from the Proofsource app, drawn with sample data for an example brand.
- ChatGPT named Driffle in 6 of 18 answers. Otter was named in 14.
- Perplexity never named Driffle for sales meeting questions.
Claude cited driffle.ai/integrations twice.- Otter.ai is the most named competitor across all engines.
| Page | Content AI sees |
|---|---|
| driffle.ai | 92% |
| driffle.ai/pricing | 38% |
| driffle.ai/integrations | 100% |
