Proofsource and Gmail: pitches that come from a real person

For agency workspaces, each team member connects their own Gmail. Pitch emails and replies then leave from that person's address, so they read as personal and land in the inbox. Proofsource keeps within safe daily limits, sends once, and reads delivery events back so you see what arrived.

Proofsource and Gmail, in short

The facts, ready to quote.

Stage
Live for agency workspaces
Connects with
Google sign-in per member, in Settings, Email and calendar
Access it needs
Permission to send as the member and to read delivery events
Where it shows
Settings, Email and calendar, and the Gmail mailboxes card in the agency integrations hub
Pace
Safe daily limits per mailbox, and each email is sent once
Not the same as
Gmail as a read-only knowledge source, which is a separate card and is Coming soon

Live Live applies to agency workspaces only. A brand workspace that is not an agency does not see the mailboxes card.

Why we love Gmail

In the makers' own words, from their own pages. Proofsource builds on it, never around it.

Spam and phishing filtered before you see it

Gmail says it blocks the great majority of spam, malware and dangerous links before they reach the inbox, which is why a real, well-kept mailbox is a good place for outreach to live.

Security that stays out of the way

Messages are encrypted, suspicious mail is flagged with a warning, and Confidential Mode lets a sender set an expiry and limit forwarding and copying.

Connected to the rest of your work

Gmail works with desktop mail apps and lets you start a chat, a Meet call or a shared document straight from a message, so email is a hub rather than a silo.

How Proofsource uses Gmail

Sends agency pitches and replies from each member's own Gmail, inside safe daily limits, and reads delivery events back.

  1. Know

Find the prospect who is losing

The prospect scan shows which buyer questions ChatGPT, Perplexity and the other engines answer with a competitor, not the prospect.

  2. Act

Draft the pitch and the reply

Proofsource writes a short, specific pitch from that evidence, and drafts replies in the agency Inbox for a person to review.

  3. Ship

Send from the member's own Gmail

After approval the email leaves from that member's mailbox, inside daily limits, and is sent once rather than repeated.

  4. Prove

    Read delivery back

Delivery events are read back, so the pipeline shows what was sent, delivered and answered.

Set up Gmail in 4 steps

  1. Open Settings, Email and calendar

Each agency member connects their own mailbox. Nobody shares a login or sends as someone else.

  2. Sign in with Google

You approve sending as yourself and reading delivery events, and no password reaches Proofsource.

  3. Set the pace

Proofsource sends inside safe daily limits for the mailbox, so a mailbox is never flooded.

  4. Send your first approved pitch

Approve a pitch from the pipeline or a reply from the Inbox. It goes from your Gmail, and you can disconnect the mailbox in the same screen.

A drafted pitch waiting for a Yes, to leave from the member's own address.

Questions about Proofsource and Gmail

What does Proofsource send through Gmail?

Pitch emails and replies that a person on your agency team approved. They leave from that person's own Gmail address, inside safe daily limits, and each one is sent once.

Who can connect a mailbox?

Each member of an agency workspace connects their own mailbox in Settings, Email and calendar. The mailbox card is for agency workspaces only.

What access does it ask for?

Permission to send as the member and to read delivery events. Proofsource never sees your password.

How do I disconnect?

Use Disconnect on the mailbox in Settings, Email and calendar. Proofsource can no longer send from or read events for that mailbox.

What does Live mean for this card?

It is open to agency workspaces and sending real pitches and replies. Gmail as a read-only knowledge source is a separate card that is Coming soon.

How does this help AI visibility?

Outreach is how an agency turns a scan into a client. Pitches built from the engines' own answers show a prospect where ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and the others leave them out, and the agency then fixes and proves it.

Will it send too much?

No. Proofsource paces each mailbox inside safe daily limits and does not repeat an email that has already been sent.
