AI brand sentiment analysis, with the answer behind every score
AI brand sentiment analysis shows how answer engines frame your brand when buyers ask about your category. Proofsource reads every answer from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and the other engines your plan covers, marks how each one talks about you, and breaks it down by engine and topic next to your competitors. Every reading links to the answer it came from, so marketing and PR teams can act on real text.

AI brand sentiment analysis, explained
Classic sentiment analysis reads reviews, social posts and news and scores them as positive, neutral or negative. AI brand sentiment analysis does the same for a newer source of opinion: the answers that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and the other engines your plan covers write when a buyer asks which product to choose. Those answers do not just list names. They frame them: one brand is called the reliable choice, another is mentioned with a caveat about price or support.
Framing matters because buyers often act on the first answer they read. A brand that is mentioned in every answer but always with a warning can lose more deals than a brand that is mentioned less often but recommended clearly. That is why sentiment is measured beside visibility, not instead of it.
Proofsource reads each answer that mentions your brand and marks how it talks about you. You see the share of positive answers overall, per engine and per buyer topic, with the competitors named in the same answers. Each reading opens the answer itself, so you can read the exact words, preview the answer again and decide what to fix.

Questions about AI brand sentiment analysis
What is AI brand sentiment?
It is how AI answer engines frame your brand when they mention it: as a strong recommendation, a neutral option or a choice with a warning. Proofsource marks each answer positive, neutral or negative.
Which engines does Proofsource read?
Up to 10 AI engines, depending on your plan, from ChatGPT and Perplexity to Gemini, Copilot and Grok. Each has its own sentiment breakdown, because engines often frame the same brand differently.
Can I see why an answer was marked negative?
Yes. Every reading opens the full answer, so you can read the sentence that set the tone and the sources the engine cited.
How is sentiment different from visibility?
Visibility tells you how often you are named. Sentiment tells you how you are described when you are named. A brand can be visible and still framed with a caveat, so Proofsource shows both side by side.
Can I compare my sentiment with competitors?
Yes. Each topic shows the competitors named in the same answers, so you can see who AI recommends with more confidence on the questions that matter.
What can I do about negative sentiment?
Read the answers to find the claim or caveat behind it, check whether it is true, then fix the page, profile or source the engine relies on. If the claim is wrong, the accuracy checks track whether your correction reaches the answers.
How is this different from Profound or Semrush sentiment?
Profound and Semrush both offer strong sentiment reporting, with source reasons and perception reports. Proofsource keeps every reading tied to an answer you can preview and ask again, and puts sentiment next to fixes and proof that they worked.
Is sentiment counted for answers about a different company with my name?
No. Answers about another company that shares your name are left out, so the readings describe your brand.
