What is an AI visibility BI connector?
A BI connector moves data from a product into a business intelligence tool such as Looker Studio, Tableau or Power BI, where analysts combine it with other sources and build their own charts. For AI visibility, it means the share of AI answers that name your brand can sit on the same dashboard as organic traffic, paid search and pipeline.
The hard part is not the plumbing, it is keeping the numbers accurate once they leave the product. AI visibility rates are estimates from samples of answers, so a good feed carries the sample size and the uncertainty range with every rate, and explains how to pool rates across days without double counting.
Proofsource offers two feeds. The OData v4 feed serves brand data to Tableau and any OData-capable tool. The Looker Studio connector reads the same daily report through the API with your key; it is in early access, so join and we turn it on for your workspace. Each row includes the answers behind the rate and its 95% low and high, so charts can show confidence, not only a line.

Create a read key
In Proofsource, open Settings, then API Keys, and create a read key.
Connect your tool
For Tableau, add the OData feed with the key. For Looker Studio, ask us for the connector link: join early access and we turn it on for your workspace.
Build the charts
Add a chart and a date control. Chart mention rate, share of voice or citations by engine and day.
Check the feed
The Integrations card shows each tool as Connected once it has read data, with the time of its last read.

Is there a Proofsource connector for Looker Studio?
Early access: the Looker Studio community connector is shared on request. Join and we turn it on for your workspace, then it reads your AI visibility through the Proofsource API with a read key, one row per day and engine.
Can I use Proofsource data in Tableau or Power BI?
Tableau reads the read-only OData v4 feed with your API key. Any other BI tool that speaks OData can use the same feed.
Which metrics are in the feed?
Mention rate with its 95% low and high, answers and answers naming you, share of voice, average position, citations, sentiment and the top competitor, per day, brand and engine.
Which AI engines are included?
Every engine your plan covers, up to 10, each as its own row per day.
How do I combine daily rates over a month?
Rates default to an average of daily values. For one pooled rate over a range, chart the sum of Answers naming you divided by the sum of Answers.
Does Proofsource store my Looker or Tableau login?
No. Your BI tool pulls from Proofsource with a read-only API key. Revoke the key in Settings and the feed stops on its next read.
How is this different from Peec's or Rankscale's connectors?
Both offer good Looker Studio connectors. The Proofsource feed adds a Tableau OData option and carries the answer count and 95% range on every row, so charts can show how certain each number is.
How fresh is the data?
Each change of dates in Looker Studio reads the API again, with pages cached for 10 minutes. Each key can make 600 requests an hour.
