Proofsource and Trustpilot: your real rating, and more real reviews
Paste one Trustpilot API key and secret and Proofsource reads your TrustScore and review count from your own account, instead of guessing from the web. It can also send Trustpilot's own review invitations to real customers you add, never with anything offered in return, because AI engines lean on reviews when they decide who to recommend.

Questions about Proofsource and Trustpilot
What does Proofsource change in my Trustpilot account?
Nothing on your profile. It reads your TrustScore and review count and, when you ask, sends Trustpilot's own invitations to customers you add. It cannot edit your Trustpilot page, so the panel tells you where to make changes.
What access does it need?
A Trustpilot API key and secret from Trustpilot Business, Integrations, API. They are sealed when saved and never shown again. Connections made with only a key keep reading the rating, and invitations ask for the secret once.
Do invitations offer rewards?
No. Invitations go only to customers you add and never carry anything in return, which keeps reviews genuine and within Trustpilot's rules.
What does Preview mean?
The connector is open to every plan with a Preview badge while we check more real accounts. It reads and sends for real.
How do I disconnect?
Open the Trustpilot card and disconnect. Reading and invitations stop, and you can revoke the key in Trustpilot too.
Does this send customer data out?
Invitations pass the customer details you add to Trustpilot so it can send its own email. The card says so before you connect.
How does this help my AI visibility?
AI engines weigh reviews when recommending brands. A rating you can read, and more real reviews, give them better evidence. Proofsource checks up to 10 engines depending on your plan: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI. The free scan and the trial run four of them.
