Fix results tracking: proof each fix moved AI answers

Proofsource tracks every fix you ship as a card with its state, a day counter and before and now numbers. It re-checks the fix on days 7, 14 and 28, then shows how the fix climbed past competitors in re-asked answers, per AI assistant. Gains that hold become verified wins, and agencies see every client's wins in one vault, with consent before a client is named in public.

Fix results tracking for AI visibility, explained

Fix results tracking answers one question: did the change we made get us named more often by AI engines? It is harder than it sounds, because answers swing from run to run, engines update at different speeds, and competitors move too.

Proofsource gives each fix a tracking window of 28 days from the day it goes live. On days 7, 14 and 28, the questions the fix targets are re-asked and stored. The climb chart shows your position against the competitors in those answers, overall or for one assistant. When a gain holds, it becomes a verified win. Wins Proofsource spots in answers without a tracked fix are shown too.

How it works

Every fix as a card that tracks its climb past competitors over 28 days, per AI assistant, and turns verified gains into wins.

  1. Ship a fix

Mark the fix live, or let Proofsource detect it.

  2. Start the window

A 28-day window opens with a day counter on the fix card.

  3. Re-ask the questions

On days 7, 14 and 28 the questions the fix targets are asked again and stored.

  4. Plot the climb

Your position against competitors, overall or for one assistant.

  5. Verify the win

Gains that hold become verified wins you can share.

Questions about fix results tracking

How do I know if a fix worked?

Each fix is re-checked on days 7, 14 and 28. The questions it targets are re-asked, and the climb chart shows your position against competitors. A gain that holds becomes a verified win.

Why re-check on days 7, 14 and 28?

Engines pick up changes at different speeds. Checking after one, two and four weeks gives most engines time to re-read a page while keeping the result tied to the fix.

Can I see the result for one engine?

Yes. Switch the climb to any engine your plan covers, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini.

What is a found win?

A gain Proofsource spots in answers without a tracked fix behind it, shown above your proven fixes.

How do agencies use wins?

The wins vault shows every client's verified win with a consent chip, and can preview a public proof page once the client agrees.

How is this different from Writesonic's Action Center?

Writesonic offers a strong prioritized action list. Proofsource adds a tracking window per fix and a climb past named competitors, so each action has its own result.

Does a client have to agree to be named?

Yes. The consent page shows the client exactly how they would appear, and they answer with one tap.
