Why we love OpenAI Codex plugin
In the makers' own words, from their own pages. Proofsource builds on it, never around it.
MCP in Codex
Codex connects directly to MCP servers to reach tools and information in other systems, and the setup is shared across the desktop app, CLI and IDE extension.
From developers.openai.comSkills that make workflows repeatable
A Codex skill is a folder with instructions, resources and optional scripts, so a task like an audit runs the same careful way every time.
From developers.openai.comOne agent across surfaces
Codex brings the same agent to the app, the command line and your editor, so a setup you make once is available wherever you work.
